Rose and Matt’s Chicago City Wedding
From the Sofitel to Holy Name Cathedral to the Newberry Library, Rose and Matt’s Wedding was an amazing display of the beauty of Chicago.
I couldn’t help but notice the importance of family that was felt. In fact, The Bride’s Dad said in his speech, “This is the joining of two great Italian families!”. What a great way to put it! It was a complete delight to be a part of Rose and Matt’s big day.
Here are some of my favorites from their November 20th, 2010 celebration!
The Sofitel has some amazing photo opportunities. Even their hallways are amazing. Put a beautiful, radiant Bride in the mix, and viola!
Rose and Matt didn’t want to stray too far from the neighborhood before the Ceremony (all their locations were within blocks of each other), so we took some fun photos just outside the Sofitel:

I can think of few cooler places to have a Wedding reception than a Chicago Library. Newberry Library is beautiful.

Caitlin and Marc at Byron Colby Barn – Grayslake, IL
Caitlin and Marc had a romantic, elegant, and FUN celebration at the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake. From the intimate ceremony at the gazebo, to the reception with lots of DIY touches, it was a pleasure to be their Photographer for the big day. Caitlin and her friends and family made and jarred blueberry jam, and gave it as favors! It was a beautiful day that turned into an energetic night, and the dance floor was PACKED. Their first dance was to a Daft Punk song, I think that might give you a clue to how unique these two are. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day:

Hey everyone!
Things are a little busy around here, hence the lack of blog postings. Once November rolls around, you’ll probably be sick of all the stuff I post 
For now, I just wanted to quickly mention that I will be planning a Boudoir marathon session in November. I haven’t finalized the date yet. Professional Hair and Makeup will be provided, and we’ll be shooting at a classy Chicago hotel. Please contact me if you’d like to get on the mailing list to be informed of all the details. Christina and Kevin had a simply stunning Wedding reception at Cueno Mansion in Vernon Hills. Their ceremony was held at the bright and beautiful Our Lady of Perpetual Help church. I’m a sucker for green as a Wedding color, and the venue was decorated beautifully with it. Another fantastic touch was the literary theme. I can’t forget to mention the super cute gingham Bridesmaids dresses!
Christina and Kevin’s adoration for each other was undeniable. They were all smiles, all day and night long. Here are some of my favorite photos from their big day:

It was a long process (probably because I’m a perfectionist), but my new website is live!
So rather than bombard you with picture posts, please take a look at all the galleries for brand new pics!

Let’s start with Tricia and Omar, who got married at Saint Clement Church, and had their reception at the W Hotel Lakeshore. They picked 2 amazingly gorgeous spots. The Church is absolutely breath taking. The W Hotel’s Altitude room is vibrant, and made for a great setting. Here are some of my favorite shots from their big day!
